Paris-Dakar USA will start operation in the spring of 2008. Vintage BMW R80G/S bikes will be available for touring in New Mexico and Southern Colorado. The bikes are now in the process of being restored and will soon be ready for those who wish to experience the worlds first and most famous adventure touring bike ever made.

 

At 387 lbs. the rugged and stone ax simple R80G/S won the Paris-Dakar rally three times , and is a far cry from the huge complicated dual sports of today.  The owner Alan Tooraen has been purchasing and renovating  BMW R80G/S bikes since 1992.
